Fall scheduling and Clinic updates

As we get closer to the end of August we are starting to look at back-to-school scheduling.  Here are a couple of things to consider:

1.  If you need afterschool only do you plan on keeping your current time until we find your preferred time? Don’t forget to tell the front desk your preferences.

2.  If you are not comfortable about pulling your child from the school day,  what do you think your last visit would be while you wait for the preferred time?

Getting a waitlist started sooner is better to get you in line for your preferred time. 

When thinking about back to school or summer being over its seems like it is creeping up very quickly! Especially with the DELTA variant in the mix of things.  We highly encourage you to do as much research as you can.  If you or your child are eligible to be vaccinated please do so.  We want to reduce the risk of exposing children that are unable to be vaccinated as much as possible.  If you have questions about parenting during the pandemic and how this impacts school check out this online zoom meeting.  Lisa Reynolds (pediatrician) & Dr. Doreen Dodgen-magee (psychologist) will provide information on decision making and parenting while navigating decisions about back to school and social interactions given the new Covid variants.
