Terms of Use
What this site is, what it is not, and the terms you accept by using it. The short version: it is a directory, it is not therapy, and it must not be relied on in an emergency.

- Listings are copied from a public roster and can be wrong, stale or gone.

The agreement
These terms are between you and Quick Counseling, of 651 N Broad St, Suite 201, Middletown, Delaware 19709, United States. Using quickcounseling.com means you accept them; if you do not, please do not use the site.
You must be 18 or over.
There is no account to create and nothing to subscribe to, so nothing here obliges you to anything beyond reading responsibly.
What this site is
Quick Counseling publishes information about therapists who appear on BetterHelp's public roster. It does not provide therapy, counselling, diagnosis, treatment or medical advice, and it is not a healthcare provider.
We do not employ, contract with, supervise, endorse, recommend or vouch for any therapist listed. We have not met them. Reading a page here creates no therapist-client relationship, no duty of care and no confidentiality obligation between you and anyone named on it.
Any relationship with a therapist begins on the platform they practise through, under that platform's own agreements, and we are not a party to it.
Emergencies
If you are in immediate danger, or thinking about harming yourself, do not use this site. In the United States call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or call 911. This directory is not monitored and nobody here will see that you needed help.
What the information is worth
Every profile is a copy of what a public source said on the day we read it. That is its value and its limit.
- A licence recorded here is the text the therapist published. The authority on it is the state board that issued it, and our licence-lookup pages exist to point you at them.
- The availability history on a profile is a record of what the roster said on each of the last thirty days it was read. It is not a promise that anyone is free now.
- A therapist may leave, change what they work with, or stop taking clients between one reading and the next.
- Our explanations of therapeutic methods are general descriptions written by us. They are labelled as ours and they are not a claim about how any particular clinician works.
Verify anything that matters before you act on it.
How we are paid
Links from this site to BetterHelp carry a tracking parameter, and we receive a commission if somebody starts therapy after following one. That is the entire business model.
No therapist can pay to be listed here, to rank higher, to be described differently, or to be removed. The order results appear in is set by the filters you chose and nothing else.
The commission is paid by BetterHelp, not by you, and it does not change what you pay them.
Using the site properly
You may read, search and link to anything here. You may not:
- scrape, harvest or bulk-copy the listings, whether by hand or by machine;
- republish a substantial part of the directory, or use it to build a competing one;
- use anything here to contact, market to or harass a therapist;
- attempt to break, overload or probe the site or the systems behind it;
- submit a removal request for a listing that is not yours.
We may restrict access if any of that happens, without notice.
Removing a listing
Every therapist page carries a form that removes it. Choose a reason, give a name and an email address, submit, and the page stops being published immediately. Nothing is reviewed first and nobody has to agree.
That form is for the therapist whose page it is. Using it against somebody else's listing, or submitting one you know to be false, is a misuse of the site under the section above.
One removal per internet address per day. The limit stops the form being used to strip the directory; it is not a limit on anybody's right to be removed. If you hit it, email us and we will do it by hand the same day.
A removal can be undone. Email support@quickcounseling.com from an address we can sensibly connect to the listing. Removal here has no effect on a BetterHelp listing, which is not ours to change.
Who owns what
The design, the code, the written explanations, the licence-lookup pages and the arrangement of this site belong to Quick Counseling.
Therapist names, biographies, credentials and photographs belong to the people they describe or to the platform that published them, and appear here as factual reference. If you own such material and want it taken down, email us and it will be.
The articles on this site are ours. Quote them with attribution and a link; do not republish them whole.
Disclaimers
The site is provided as it is and as it is available. To the fullest extent the law allows we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, currency, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.
We do not warrant that any therapist listed is suitable for you, currently licensed, currently practising, or accepting clients.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss arising from your use of this site or from any decision made on the basis of something found here.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a jurisdiction does not permit an exclusion above, it applies only so far as that jurisdiction allows.
Changes to the site and to these terms
We may change the site, or these terms, at any time. When the terms change the date at the top changes with them, and continuing to use the site means accepting the revised version.
We may stop publishing the site, or any part of it, without notice.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The Delaware courts have jurisdiction, except where the law of your home country gives you the right to bring proceedings there instead.
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
