Hello, I am Dr. Lonnie Smith, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the state of North Carolina. I earned my graduate degree in Clinical Psychology at The Union Institute and University. I started my first practice in Knoxville Tennessee. I provide therapy services specializing in depression, anxiety, grief relationship issues, and adolescents. I have extensive training in a range of modalities including, ADHD, family therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Christian counseling. I am involved in continuing research and emerging trends of therapy. I am an educator to graduate and doctorate students who are pursuing their goal of becoming therapists themselves. I am married and have two children. My hobbies are reading and working out. I was a college basketball player, so I love sports. I have many years of experience which makes me feel that I can assist with your needs. I look forward to providing services that will help your life to be fulfilling and happy.
