My love and joy of being a therapist is seing my clients to see the best in themselves, even when they are feeling their lowest! I can help to manage, stress, anxiety, depression, compulsive disorders, anger, grief, loss, trauma, parenting issues, lack of motivation, life changes, self esteem, and self confidence. The duality of my educational studies has enabled me to acquire my strengths in providing strong exceptional supportive, and clinical services, behavioral counseling, crisis counseling, trauma counseling and resourceful coping tools. I’ve worked with adults, couples, the elderly, adolescents, teens, young adults, medically frail, as well as LGBQT populations. With more than15 years of experience, I am dual in my educational experience and expertise. I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work, a licence in Mental Health Counseling, and a Special Certification in Trauma Counseling in New York State. My Social Work background helps me to empower others to overcome challenges and obstacles they are facing in their lives. I can help them to seek out solutions to issues and circumstances they’ve been trying to figure out for quite a while. Most of importantly, I welcome diversity and uniqueness. I am able to connect and empower everyone to be their best they can be! My studies in Mental Health Counseling gives me my professional and clinical knowledge to provide counseling to help improve the mental health, emotional and physical well-being of all who seek out my help. My communication, verbal and listening skills are exceptional. My clinical approaches are diverse, non-confrontational, and strength based. I’m skilled in Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Therapy, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic Therapy, Family Therapy, Trauma Counseling, Play Therapy and much more! I’m multi-skilled in providing treatment to individuals wo have experienced serious health conditions, chemical addiction, PTSD, OCD, ADD, ADHD, BiPolar Disorder, Mood Disorders, depression, anxiety, domestic violence, sexual abuse / sexual trauma.
