I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Illinois. For over 15 years, I have provided compassionate and non-judgemental counseling experiences with persons from all walks of life, gender, racial, and sexual identities. I have helped individuals learn strategies for coping with stress, anxiety and depression. I have also helped many people enhance their self-esteem and and self-confidence and heal from childhood abuse, sexual trauma, or other traumatic experiences. I have expertise in helping clients improve communication and social skills; recognize and express thoughts and feelings; and navigate break-ups and other relationship challenges. I am also skilled at guiding personal and professional growth journeys. My counseling style is engaging, relational, caring, compassionate, and collaborative. I draw on a variety of counseling theories and approaches to help me identify your strengths and most importantly empower to remind you of your power and agency to live life on your own terms. Cultivating a counseling relationship with clients offers assurance and hope to overcome any obstacles that are preventing you from being healed, authentic and whole.
