About Amanda

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. I graduated in 2004 from Richmont Graduate University. Since that time I have worked with people of all ages and numerous concerns. I particularly enjoy working with those individuals suffering from grief, trauma, and process addictions such as pornography. I believe a client centered approach is crucial regardless of the therapeutic interventions used. Research consistently shows that the therapeutic relationship itself (rather than the technique used) is what produces most meaningful change. In terms of ideologies I often use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Read more Show less
