About me

Hello and welcome! My name is Sherry Haynes, I have a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology and am fully licensed in the state of Washington as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have 8 years of experience in counseling with an additional 16 years in the human services field working with youth and their families. My training has focused on the treatment of self-esteem/confidence, depression, anxiety, social/relationship issues, and trauma. In today’s busy world it’s important to take time for yourself, each of our sessions will be person-centered and unique. I use Evidence-Based Practices during our sessions using a combination of, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Therapy (TFCBT) and Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). I understand your unique complexities of family, work and relationship struggles. I can help you navigate these challenges while helping you achieve and become your best possible self. I look forward to meeting you.
