About me

Hello, This is Scott Anstadt, Ph,D, LCSW, a seasoned clinician with decades of academic and counseling experience. Empathic, direct, and practical in approach using a wide range of evidenced based tools to make our time most meaningful and enhance your everyday life concerns. Flexible in approach to build in regular and strategic contacts and coaching. Enjoy working with older adults, periods of transition and adjustment, and grief issues. Overall, I use an eclectic approach from an evidenced based perspective. This includes strategic use of skills in: family systems, gestalt, narrative, CBT, person centered, and existential theoretical frameworks. I have worked extensively with individuals, groups, and families. I have also taught clinical courses at the University level for almost a decade. I seek to be of service to those who could take advantage of the convenience, flexibility, and mobility that online has to offer and time to offer thoughtful and deliberate interventions with persons who desire a compassionate, reflective, and genuine presence in their lives. I use a wholistic lifestyle approach and flexible, regular interventions tied to a client’s lifestyle arena. The online platform allows for creativity in using this approach in terms of length of sessions, time of sessions, and strategic contacts.
