About me

Everyone needs someone to talk to! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York. I have over 10 years experience providing Individual and Group therapy to individuals struggling with a variety of different problems including relationship difficulties, low self esteem, depression, anxiety, stress management and trauma. My clinical style is collaborative, using an honest, direct, yet supportive approach in addressing your concerns. A goal of mine as a Therapist is to help you feel empowered and motivated during each session you have with me. I believe that everyone can achieve their goals and overcome personal challenges with the support and guidance from someone who believes in them. You are in control of your future, despite what you may have experienced in your past. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during treatment, as well as a Strength and Reality Based approach. I strive to create a supportive, healthy, non judgmental foundation we can work from in addressing your problems. I earned a Master’s of Social Work from the University at Buffalo in 2008 and also hold a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology that I earned in 2006 from Niagara University. I have experience working in both Outpatient and Inpatient settings providing clinical services to adults with mental illness and substance abuse/dependence. For the past several years I have been providing psychotherapy, crisis intervention and behavioral modification/management to individuals within a correctional facility. I look forward to working with you!
