About me

I have over 20 years experience in counseling and have worked with a diverse range of people and problems. I have a laid back, empathetic approach and will listen – not judge. Let’s develop strategies to get through today, but also to build a foundation to be better equipped to handle tomorrow. I’m experienced in working with depression, anxiety, bipolar, grief, addictions, aging & disability issues, LGBTQIA+ , work & relationship issues. My undergraduate degree is in sociology & psychology, and I have a master’s in social work. I will listen and give support, and if you need some honest, constructive feedback about your issues, I’m ready. I want to help you create healthier boundaries and build the confidence to express yourself fully. As a social worker I am trained to look at the big picture: how we all affect each other, including our friends & family., our workplace & our community, & even the larger world. I understand the need for social justice and diversity. We need to work together to solve problems. But before we can fully do that, we need to work on ourselves.
