About me

I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor in Florida with over 20 years of experience working with clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, motivation, self-esteem, confidence issues, HIV-positive clients, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, relationship issues, substance use disorders, recently incarcerated, first responders, veterans, and military spouses. I have experience with clients of many different cultural diversities and concerns. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I believe in personalizing the client’s treatment plan to meet their unique and specific needs. My goal as a counselor is to meet you where you are and help you work through your issues and struggles. There may be times that you feel lost and confused. Therapy allows you to work through your issues with someone who is not biased or judgmental. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support and empower you in that journey.
