About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. I have provided counseling to clients of all ages for over 30 years. I’ve enjoyed working in many settings including residential, outpatient and the hospital. My specialties include individual, couple and family counseling in order to help clients work through various issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, loss, marital issues, trauma and abuse. My counseling style is compassionate and supportive. I believe it is necessary to work with individuals at a pace that is comfortable and helpful to them. I treat individuals with respect and dignity at all times. My approach is cognitive-behavioral as well as client centered counseling. Together we will work through your issues in a way that is comfortable to you. It takes a great deal of strength and courage to seek out counseling. This will be the first step in your journey towards healing and recovery. I look forward to working with you!
