About Hector

Greetings! My name is Hector. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Master Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP), I assist clients seeking recovery from behavioral health and/or addiction challenges. My approach, although firm and tenacious, is pragmatic, altruistic, rooted in compassion, empathy, patience & understanding. It is a blend of over 12 years of professional and personal experience as someone living in long-term recovery. I have had the opportunity to work with many clients, the vast majority of them active, reserve, discharged and/or retired military Veterans such as myself. My therapeutic orientation combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, reality, and rational-emotive therapies, motivational interviewing, and even 12-Step facilitation, if/as needed. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and taking the first steps towards change, and for that I commend you. If you are ready to embark on your path of healing and recovery, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you! Read more Show less
