Kristina Huckstep

Hi! My name is Kristina and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Florida and Alaska. I am EMDR certified through EMDRIA and have completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training. I understand that life has its ups and downs. As humans, it can become difficult to manage the life adjustments: whether it is a relationship change, new move, career change, welcoming a new family member or managing the responsibilities of life. When life shifts, in any capacity, it can be tough! Sometimes we can find ourselves struggling to adjust. If this is you, I see you and I believe there is hope. My approach is genuine and authentic. I believe in what I do and am honored to have the privilege to walk along side you on your journey. I provide therapy with a trauma informed framework. I utilize EMDR, mindfulness based, solution focused, somatic, dialectic behavior therapy, and client centered therapies. My focus is to meet you where you are and game plan with you to find and utilize solutions to reach your goals. I am experienced working with military service members and their families, first responders, professionals encountering work stressors, and trauma survivors. I have experience serving individuals challenged by adult relationships, adjusting to a new baby or career/relocation, and those feeling overwhelmed by their life circumstances.
