About me

My background is working with teens, adults, couples, and families. I specialize in depression, self-esteem, anxiety, as well as mood and personality disorders like bipolar and borderline personality disorders. Sessions lead with a person-centered approach and evidence-based practices. My style is warm and fun, partly so you can feel like you took a breath of fresh air, at the same time as reaching your goals. I value the importance of trust when working with my clients. Together, we will create an individualized plan where you approve each decision. The purpose would be to have clear goals, monitor progress, and efficiency. I recently started my own practice, after being an associate therapist for a group for 3+ years. My experience also includes working for Youth and Family Services, child protection, a homeless shelter, and inpatient care. Environments that emphasized the importance of providing compassionate and quality care, with confidence to handle any complex situation. Anyone who tries to make the commitment to start therapy deserves a lot of credit! In my experience, what sets apart a good from a great therapist is having an innate ability to empathize and listen. I make this standard. There is a special purpose in feeling seen.
