About Maria

I am a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor who has 20 years of counseling experience. I have provided counseling for adolescents and adults from many different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. I am very sensitive to individual differences and will provide an atmosphere of trust, safety, and protect the confidentiality of my clients. I have worked in a school setting and a private practice. I have experience in working with a wide range of concerns and mental health issues, but a few examples are trauma/abuse, ADHD, anxiety/depression, relationship issues, adolescents, grief/loss, and parenting concerns. It is my goal to assist individuals in identifying the issues and develop possible strategies for positive solutions. I use many different approaches to counseling because individual needs vary.
