Georgia Department of Public Health | East Central Health District | Screven County Health Department is dedicated to creating healthier futures for Georgia’s children from birth to age 5. Our Children 1st program provides families with access to no-cost, in-home health, developmental, and family-support services. We collaborate with public, private, and community resources to identify children at risk for poor health and/or developmental outcomes and link them to the appropriate services. Participation is voluntary and parents may withdraw at any time. Our goal is to ensure that all Georgia’s children stay in the best possible health.
