About me

Hi, my name is Yong S. Pak. I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker in Las Vegas, Nevada. I have been working in the mental health field since 2005 initially providing specialized therapeutic services to children and families, and thereafter with the general population providing individual, couple, and family therapy. I am experienced in working with clients who struggle with depression and anxiety as well as other mental health issues such as bipolar, OCD, and ADHD. I also have experience in working with family issues, couple-related issues, parent-child relationships, grief and loss, as well as with survivors of emotional and physical trauma. I utilize primarily a client-focused approach with variations mainly from cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused models. I believe every individual, couple, and family is unique and require a customized approach. My job is to provide this customized approach, utilizing my training and experience so that you can best realize your potential and success for therapy. Since you have taken the initiative to address the challenges in your life through therapy, I hope that you will allow me to help guide and support you on this very personal journey and to achieve changes to become mentally healthier, stronger, and satisfied when it comes to yourself and your relationships with others.
