About me

Hi! I am Dr. Vincenza L. Fabber a psychologist with over thirty years’ experience in the behavioral / mental health field. In 2002, I accepted a clinical position within the state prison system and eventually became the Statewide Director of Behavioral Health Services for the Department of Correction. Post DOC retirement, I continued to provide behavioral health services – working with SOAR (Survivors of Abuse in Recovery) and in private practice. Additionally, I provide oversight of treatment services for the Joseph Patrick Fabber Memorial Foundation. My degrees and certifications include: Early Childhood Education, Human Services, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Certified Clinical Correctional Health Care Provider, Certified Hypnotherapist, Registered Play Therapist, Filial Therapist, EAGALA Equine Assisted Therapy certified, Licensed Mental Health Professional, Certified CPR Trainer, Certified Trauma Informed Care Specialist, and is a certified National Institute of Correction Crisis and Hostage Negotiator. In my spare time, I run a therapeutic horse farm, and enjoy the company of my children and grandchildren, good friends, my pets and my beloved KoKo. My area of expertise include Trauma, Anxiety, Situational Depression, ADD/ADHD, Grief and Loss, couple therapy, and professional growth and learning. Let’s talk and see if we are a good fit to work together on your goals.
