Hi! My name is Veronica and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have approximately 20 years of experience in the mental health field and have worked in a variety of settings, such as inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient services and in private practice. I have experience working with a broad range of issues such as depression, anxiety, mild autism, immigration/acculturation issues, anger management and stress related issues. I use a person-centered, holistic, multicultural, and integrative approach in treatment. I primarily use evidence based techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused counseling.
