About me

I am a licensed therapist in the state of Colorado with over 20 years of experience working with young adults, children, and families. I have worked in several orphanages, residential treatment centers, and addiction treatment centers and have counseled hundreds of children and families in the elementary and middle school setting and private sector. I have helped many who have experienced emotional and physical abuse. I have helped young adults with low self-esteem, eating disorders, academic and learning concerns, and depression. I have worked with parents to increase communication with their children and or child and to build stronger relationships. My therapy style is interactive, warm, compassionate, strength-based, and reliable. I believe everyone is authentic and can discover their strengths to thrive in an ever-changing and complex world. My areas of specialization include: Divorce, ADHD, Anxiety and Depression, attachment, and trauma My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused therapy, expressive therapy, humanistic, and motivational interviewing. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling life and to take the steps toward change. I look forward to working with you and supporting your journey toward a deeper understanding of what matters the most to you and greater happiness. You are worth it!
