About me

I am a clinical social worker licensed in North and South Carolina with over 15 years of experience working as a therapist. I have worked with clients from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, finances, career challenges, personal relationship issues, and ADHD. I have also worked with people who have experience physical, emotional, and mental abuse. My counseling style is open and non-judgemental. I believe in treating everyone with respect and demonstrating empathy in all situations. I view the relationship between the counselor and client as a partnership, and work closely with my clients to empower them to be active participants in the counseling process. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral and systemic approaches and includes a heavy emphasis on the strengths perspective. Taking the first step towards seeking a change in your life is always the hardest step to take! I commend you for considering this process and am here to support you if you decide to move forward. I look forward to working with you!
