About me

My name is Ryan Forbes. I go by “Forbes” (in order to not be confused by the ocean of Ryan’s) but feel free to call me Ryan. I am biracial as my father is Maori and from the Waikato region of New Zealand and my mother is English born in the States. During my youth I was raised in Nevada in a variety of cities and rural areas due to my parents working for State government. I am licensed in Utah with over 10 years of Counseling and 29 professional work experience. I have experience in helping individuals with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & bipolar disorder. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
