About me

Hi there! My name is Robin Lyons, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. I received my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2012 from Georgian Court University in New Jersey. I have worked with individuals with a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, life transitions, relationships, career and chronic illness. I believe we are all works in progress, striving to become the best versions of ourselves. I am passionate about helping others on their path to finding greater peace, calm, and joy in their lives. I provide a warm, empathic, safe environment, free from judgment. My preferred treatment modalities include client-centered, mindfulness-based cognitive, cognitive behavioral and solution-focused therapy. I believe in a flexible approach that is tailored to your needs, which typically ends up being a medley of these modalities. To share a little bit about myself, I am passionate about birds and nature, photography, and designing and creating jewelry! I love to find the beauty in life’s little moments. I applaud you for taking this first step in seeking support, and I wish you the best in reaching your goals!
