About David

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 23 years of experience supporting people through life’s challenges. My approach is warm and compassionate, yet also direct and straightforward. I recognize the strength it takes to seek help, and I deeply respect the courage involved in taking that step. Therapy is a safe place to talk, where the focus is on being listened to and supported. Depending on your needs, it may also involve exploring new perspectives or considering alternative ways of approaching challenges. The process is collaborative, and my role is to understand your needs and goals while walking alongside you with honesty, compassion, and clarity. While I draw from multiple theoretical perspectives, I also bring the perspective of lived experience. This can be valuable in keeping the work practical and grounded, with an emphasis on insights that can be applied to everyday life. Among other concerns, I have helped people with trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. My goal is to meet you where you are, respect the path you’re on, and provide both support and challenge in ways that make meaningful growth possible. If you’re ready to begin this process, I would value the opportunity to work alongside you. Read more Show less
