About me

Hello-My name is Richard (Rick) Lally. I graduated with a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Connecticut College and have been working in behavioral health for 25 years. I also have been a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina for the past 20 years. I am adept at and have utilized a variety of counseling modalities, including but not limited to solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, person-centered, and mindfulness. Secondary to the type of therapy I use is the importance of establishing and maintaining a strong and healthy therapeutic relationship with each individual I support. By doing so, I have been able to help individuals from diverse backgrounds with a wide array of issues; depression, grief/loss, stress, anger, relationship distress to name a few. Regardless of whether your need for seeking counseling is one of these matters or something else, please reach out to me and give me the chance to see if I can offer some relief. I welcome the opportunity to meet you.
