About me

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience and have a wide range of experiences. I have worked with children and adults who have experienced trauma; people who have depression and anxiety; and those who are having difficulty with adjusting to life changes, since the beginning of my career. Your physical/medical health can be important when dealing with your mental health, so I may incorporate information related to “Health and Wellness;” including medical status, nutrition, physical activity and more. Whatever the reason you are seeking therapy, it is important that you feel comfortable, supported by your therapist, and heard. These are reasons why I subscribe to a client centered approach. I use trauma informed and strength-based approaches, and draw from various perspectives including Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, Developmental, and Somatic therapies.
