About me

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Maryland and a retired school psychologist in the District of Columbia. Served as an adjunct professor at the University of the District of Columbia in the Psychology and Counseling Department. I have worked as a clinical psychologist with addictions, mood and anxiety disorders, and behavioral stress reduction at both outpatient and inpatient Military Treatment Facilities. My clinical expertise include: clinical, psycho-educational, and comprehensive evaluations as well as treatment of child and adolescent behavioral problems, and mindful meditation. I have a history delivering psychological services to children (ages 6 to 12), adolescents, adults, military, and geriatric clients, at various settings including nursing homes, hospitals, universities, public and charter schools, youth correctional facilities, and military treatment facilities (MTF). I have a Postdoctoral M.S. in Clinical Psychopharmacology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Ph.D. and M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Howard University, and undergraduate B.A. degree in psychology from Clark Atlanta University. My APA-accredited Clinical Psychology Internship was from Children’s Hospital National Medical Center.
