About me

Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and National Certified Counselor in North Carolina with 11 years of professional work experience. I have a heart for people and love walking with others as they grow and experience positive changes in their lives. Therefore, I believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important aspects of successful therapy. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment so that you will feel free to express your thoughts, feelings and emotions. I use therapeutic techniques that best fit each unique client and their specific situations to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. I help people improve communication skills, reduce stress, anxiety, and help you cope with any life changes as well as relationship issues. I am also uniquely trained as a Christian Counselor. I believe that we are whole persons, with physical, psychological, social and spiritual aspects. Whether we include discussion of the spiritual dimension of life in our time together will be up to you. Seeking counseling does not mean that you are weak or unable to handle life on your own. Instead it shows great strength and courage to seek the help from a professional. My hope is that as we work together you will begin to experience peace, happiness, joy and ultimately healing. I look forward to working with you!
