I am licensed in California with 15 years of professional work experience. I truly believe we all have the resources within us to grow and heal. However, there are times we become “stuck” in life and overcome with fear or other factors. I am passionate in working with adults in helping them recognize deeper/underlying issues or past traumatic experiences that can impair a person’s function each day in various ways. I specialize in anxiety, depression, PTSD, and complex trauma (Ie physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, DV, life adjustments, grief/loss). I am passionate in using modalities beyond talk therapy, such as somatic work and EMDR, a research-based treatment that facilitates the brain’s own capacity to heal. I love incorporating inner child work and expressive arts into our sessions as well. Additionally, I have an extensive background working with children and providing parenting support, especially for children who have experienced trauma or attachment injuries. I believe it is important to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where you feel comfortable, relaxed and empowered to heal and become the best version of yourself. I don’t believe in one cookie cutter approach and try to keep each session unique to your needs.
