About me

I am licensed to provide counseling and psychotherapy in Iowa and Minnesota. Specifically, I hold licenses as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Iowa and as an Independent Clinical Social Worker in Minnesota. I have extensive experience working with parents, children and couples. Common concerns of clients are depressed feelings, anxiety, and relationship issues. I prefer to work in brief approaches so clients can make the changes they seek as soon as they wish so they can move on with their lives. I believe we all have strengths and resources. Sometimes these abilities feel disconnected or unavailable to us. It is my job to assist clients in reconnecting or recognizing these resources and build upon them to address their concerns. Everyone deserves respect and the opportunity to seek a better life. I look forward to meeting you and working along side you as you accomplish your goals.
