About me

Hi there! I am Dr. Nancy Simpson, licensed clinical psychologist in South Carolina. Currently retired from a 30- year, rewarding teaching career at our local community college, I yearn to give back. Early in my career I was a practicing psychologist and worked in both in-patient and out-patient settings, performed neuropsychological assessments, and diagnosed & assessed mental illness. But, I found my bliss in academic psychology. Now it’s time to return to my roots to help others. I am well trained, compassionate, and bring mutual respect and caring to therapy. When not teaching or mentoring, you can find me on my hobby farm, milking my goats, making cheese, tending my honey bees, spinning, weaving, working as a historic craft interpreter and generally enjoying life. If you think we’d be a fit on your journey of exploration and/or healing, I’d be delighted to work with you.
