About me

Hi, I’m Mark. I believe in helping individuals to build on their strengths while developing the tools to overcome adversity and live life to the fullest. I will work with you at your pace to help you achieve your therapy goals. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Communications at Temple University in 1989 and my Master’s degree in Education/Counseling Psychology at Temple in 2000. I became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2005. I have worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, substance abuse treatment, HIV medicine, reproductive health, managed care and private practice. Much of my work has been with gay and queer men. I have also facilitated groups for HIV positive individuals. As I navigate my own aging, I have become increasingly interested in working with men as they work through their life stages. In addition to being a therapist, I am an artist. I am an avid film photographer working primarily in black and white.
