About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor currently licensed in the state of Missouri. I have over 7 years of clinical experience working with adults, children, couples and families in the school-based and private practice settings. I have worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life challenges, relationship/family conflicts, issues with focus and concentration and self-esteem/self-confidence. My education includes a Master’s degree in counseling from Missouri Baptist University and a Bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. I take a strengths-based approach in my practice where I believe individuals have the ability to tap into their strengths to overcome challenges. I also, take a holistic approach looking at all areas of an individual’s life and work on enhancing those areas to help in reaching their full potential. Additionally, I am working on integrating nutritional and integrative medicine education for mental health. Our minds and bodies are connected and essential nutrition is crucial for optimum functioning. It takes courage to reach out for help and I look forward to working with you!
