About me

I am a Professional Counselor licensed by the State of Michigan (No. 6401006543) who focuses on individual and relationship counseling. I have more than 10 years of experience and have worked with clients dealing with a wide range of concerns including stress, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I have a master’s degree in counseling and I specialized in Sociology of the Family for my doctorate. I provide cognitive and solution-focused therapy for those looking to resolve issues and/or enhance personal development. Because of my experience, I am comfortable with a broad range of issues and use humanistic and cognitive therapy modalities with the adults and couples whom I treat. I believe in the inherent ability of everyone to heal and grow when provided the appropriate opportunity. My approach is honoring, kind, and forthright to enable my clients to feel safe, not judged, and yet make the progress they desire on their path to enhanced well-being. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling life and to take the first steps toward change. If you are ready, I am here to support and empower you. I’m looking forward to being your guide.
