About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 5 years of experience working with clients of diverse backgrounds. I have experience working with many different areas of concern including: anxiety, depression, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress, social anxiety, eating disorders, phobias, stress management, anger management, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, career counseling, substance abuse, academic problems, relationships, intimate partner violence, trauma, and grief. I am passionate about helping others reach their full potential by unlocking their own personal strengths. My main therapeutic approach is client-centered and I tailor each treatment modality for each unique individual. I often incorporate cognitive behavioral, dialectic behavioral, psychodynamic, mindfulness, solution-focused, and healthy lifestyle methods into my treatment plans. I enjoy working with all types of clients but I have a lot of experience and a strong passion for helping individuals who struggle with anxiety, stress, perfectionism, low self-esteem, and negative self-talk. Seeking support demonstrates a lot of strength and shows strong determination to change the things in life that you want to improve. I look forward to working with you!
