About me

I am passionate about the work I do and take a strength based approach with the clients I work with! You are the expert with what is going on for you, I am here to help you problem solve and give you the tools to meet your goals! I am genuine and transparent with clients. I want to help you achieve your goals by working together to get solutions to your problems and helping you to make any life changes that will help you achieve your goals! I want clients I work with to overcome whatever barriers are keeping them from meeting their goals and to feel happy and fulfilled with life. Dealing with emotional pain and difficult life changes can make this challenging and we all need support from time to time to overcome difficult situations and meet our goals. I am a LCSW and have been in the field for 19 years. I have a bachelors degree in psychology, masters and certification in special education and a masters in social work. I have worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, in home and school settings. I have also worked with clients with a variety of backgrounds and presenting issues. I take an eclectic approach to my work and treat each case individually so that clients and families get their needs met. I am certified in Trauma Recovery and Empowerment model, trained in EMDR and am always attending trainings so that I can advocate and best meet the needs of the clients I work with.
