About me

I don’t know you quite yet, but if you are reading this, I already know that you are motivated to live your best life! Seeking counseling is not easy, but get prepared-you are about to embark on a life-changing journey. I see my role as a counselor as that of a guide, and I would be honored to listen to your story and help you write the next chapter of your life. I am professional counselor licensed in Wisconsin with over 7 years of experience. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and coping with general life changes, but I have great interest in PTSD and attachment disorders and I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma. My counseling style is client-centered and tailored to fit you and your needs. Each step of the counseling process, from treatment planning to discharge planning is based on what you feel you need. After all, you are the expert on yourself! My evidence-based approach combines cognitive-behavioral, DBT skills, and motivational interviewing, which I feel keeps us focused on goals while still developing a great therapeutic relationship, which is the cornerstone of treatment. I’m thrilled to get the chance to work with you. I hope we can chat soon!
