I am a licensed psychologist with 20 years experience in therapy and evaluations. Over the years, I have been fortunate to work in a broad range of settings including mental health clinics, hospitals, outpatient neurology, pediatric settings, primary care therapist, bariatric clinics, memory disorders clinic, and epilepsy clinics. I have extensive experience chronic illnesses, death and dying, coping with life changes, divorce and parenting, confidence issues, performance anxiety, and generally just feeling “down” or just needing help finding your path. I do not believe in a “one size fits all” to any therapy or situation and I tailor how I can help each person on an individual basis using various modalities depending on your needs. I have gained from not only my education and clinical experience but also having had many challenging life experiences that have taught me a great deal and helped me understand so many sides to each story. I consider myself to be warm, empathic, and forthright. On a personal level, I moved from the city to a farm where I can be outside in nature on our hobby farm that includes many animals including horses, alpacas, goats, chickens, ducks, and more. Animals are very therapeutic and I use them when I can in live therapy. I have a passion for growing pretty much anything, as well as rescuing animals when we have room. These activities are how I feel at peace but yours may be very different. We can explore yours together!
