About Lesley
Hello and welcome to BetterHelp! The journey forward begins with you, and you have made that first step to begin this endeavor. It is my hope that I can come along side you and help you navigate your journey by facing and overcoming challenges of the past and present that have been inhibiting you from reaching your fullest potential and becoming the best version of yourself. My name is Lesley Eckhardt, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Florida with 25+ years of experience in crisis, trauma, and attachment, as well as depression, anxiety, PTSD and ADHD, working with children, teens, adults, and the elderly, as well multi-generational family systems. As a clinician, I utilize a client-centered approach within a systems framework, allowing for personal and interpersonal insights and developing healthy cognitive and behavioral responses that will lead to personal growth. It is my desire to provide you the compassion and acceptance that is needed to break the ties that are keeping you from moving forward. I have worked in the fields of crisis counseling, school-based counseling, therapeutic foster care, parenting, and adoptions particularly related to attachment theory.
