About me

**Not currently available nights or weekends** Hi! I am an LCSW licensed in the state of Virginia. I’ve been a social worker for 10 years but have been working in the mental health field for almost 13 years. I have experience working with a variety of ages from adolescents to older adults. I have worked with people covering a range of concerns including depression, career and life adjustments, social justice issues, and relationships. I believe everyone deserves to be treated with empathy, decency and respect. I believe in building a professional and therapeutic alliance is our greatest tool for change. My approach includes using techniques from cognitive-behavioral, humanistic and existential theories but will also adapt to the individual. You’ve already taken the initial steps towards healing and I look forward to joining and supporting you along the way. Blessings & light, Kim
