About me

It’s very difficult to be in stressful situations that can cause lots of anxiety and self-doubt. Perhaps you’re looking for something more than advice from family and friends. If you’re looking for a warm and inviting counseling atmosphere, I am eager to work with you to develop effective coping skills and a greater self-awareness to reach your full potential. Together, you and I can work to set goals that are appropriate and attainable for you, at your pace. For therapy to be effective for you, I work hard to build genuine and long lasting trust. I worked at non-profit mental health clinics before having life altering events lead to me changing my focus and opening up my own agency. Remembering these unexpected life events helps me to maintain compassion and empathy for my clients who are experiencing overwhelming stress, anxiety and/or depression. I have experience working with clients who have struggle with anxiety, depression, marital issues, self-esteem issues, and much more. Additionally, I believe that trauma experiences can negatively effect the way we navigate through life. I work to help my clients become aware of the impact trauma has had on their lives and to understand how these experiences may impact our perception of the world.
