About Joseph
I try to provide my clients with assistance on determining what their primary goals are in therapy and what problems are standing in their way. My ideal client is someone who recognizes that they want to change something in their lives that is preventing them from moving forward. Ideally, they are self-motivated (not engaging in therapy because a family member or loved one is pressuring them to change). In addition, the client is willing to work on their problems outside of the therapy session and put into practice the skills they have learned. My approach combines both empathy and practicality.
