About Stephanie

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory designation (LPCC-S) in Ohio, with a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling and a Master of Education in School Psychology. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, life transitions, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, and recurring patterns that interfere with daily life or relationships. My counseling style is warm, direct, practical, and collaborative. Therapy is individualized rather than based on a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we work to understand what is happening, identify patterns that may be contributing to current concerns, and develop realistic strategies that can create meaningful change. My approach may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), psychoeducation, structured reflection, emotional regulation strategies, values clarification, and practical behavioral steps that can be used outside of sessions. I place particular emphasis on helping clients connect insight with action so that therapy leads to observable changes in daily functioning, relationships, decision-making, and emotional well-being. For clients who want faith to be part of the counseling process, Catholic or Christian faith integration can be incorporated at the client’s request. Faith is never assumed or imposed, and the level of integration is guided by each individual’s preferences and goals. A strong therapeutic relationship should offer both support and space for honest examination and growth. My role is not simply to listen, but to help clarify concerns, recognize patterns, strengthen useful skills, challenge unhelpful thinking when appropriate, and develop clear next steps toward the life and relationships a client wants to build. Beginning counseling can feel like a significant decision. My goal is to provide a respectful, compassionate, and structured environment where difficult concerns can be addressed at a manageable pace while building greater clarity, confidence, emotional stability, and practical skills for moving forward.
