About me

I have 17+ years of experience working in outpatient, inpatient, clinical review of care, crisis services, and recovery-oriented settings. I have published within the areas of addiction, evidence-based treatment, client-centered therapy, and survivor guilt. I maintain a private practice and work in the addiction recovery community. I completed my clinical training at Nova Southeastern University. I went on to do additional doctoral training in conflict analysis and resolution before completing a doctoral degree in addiction psychology. I use the combined knowledge to enrich the services that I provide. I have completed training in motivational interviewing/motivational enhancement, cognitive behavioral therapy, guided self-change, solution-focused, exposure therapy, meditation, performance coaching, and client-centered techniques. I integrate these approaches into a tailored and individualized approach to work to find what best works for you in therapy. I look forward to supporting you to find what best works for you.
