About me

I’m a licensed clinical mental health counselor, licensed clinical addictions specialist, national certified counselor as well as the owner of Healing Selves Therapeutics, PLLC. My pronouns are they/them. I’m also a certified EMDR therapist. I’ve have worked with special populations through the span of their 13 years of practice, such as, the elder care community, community mental health, university students, the LGBTQIAP+ community, plural community, and front line workers. My specialty areas include traumagenic disorders, specifically dissociative disorders, as well as stress/anxiety disorders. I’ve been a passionate advocate for persons living with a dissociative disorder since my own diagnosis in 2002. My approach is based around the team model of collaboration and evidence based practices such as: EMDR, Clinical Hypnosis, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Expressive Arts Therapy. I also enjoy dance, music, song writing, guitar and currently advocate through blogs, interviews, podcasts, and presentations to propagate accurate information, education, and understanding of dissociative identity disorder.
