About me

No matter who you are or what your background is, I am here for you. My goal is to help you. My desire is to show you kindness and compassion. I utilize short-term approaches which have been proven to help people start feeling better very quickly. Some as early as four weeks but most after an average of about 12-15 weeks. The length of your therapy can be discussed and decided together on a case-by-case basis. My goal is to teach you the skills necessary to be your own therapist and demystify the process. I want to help you learn how to not need me anymore! I believe that if I can help you find some relief regarding what is happening in your life now, it will be a bit easier to address anything in your past that might be causing you difficulty. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with ten years experience providing counseling services. I have spent more than 25 years working with people of all ages in a variety of ways. For example; I have been public-school Special Education teacher and an English as a Foreign Language teacher, as well as a therapist. Some specific issues I can help you with include anxiety, depression, and anger management. Making the decision to even consider counseling is a huge step. It is important to note that I can’t make you any guarantees. However, if you are ready, I believe I can help you.
