About me

Hello! My name is Erin. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania. I have over three years of post-graduate experience working in the mental health field. I have worked with clients with various concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, sexuality concerns, drug/alcohol addiction, and with crisis issues. I also helped many people who have Intellectual Disabilities and their families. Lastly I have worked with clients who are on the Autism Spectrum. My counseling style is warm, interactive, light, and motivated. I believe in treating every person with respect, compassion, and I always meet a person where they are at in order to work together towards goals. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, solution-focused, mindfulness, and rational-emotive counseling. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to reach out and ask for help, even when you know that you can help yourself most days. Together, we can find the empowerment that can be difficult to reach sometimes! I look forward to working with you!
