Hello! My name is Elizabeth (Liz). I have a master’s degree in Counseling from Lindenwood University (2005) and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri. I also have a doctoral degree in Education Administration and a master’s degree in Business Management. I have been practicing as a therapist for over a decade. My professional training and background include working with adults in both short and long-term therapy. I have worked as a counselor for the United States Air Force, Department of Veterans Affairs, and in private practice. I have great expertise in communicating with individuals from different backgrounds and cultures. My professional experience has included helping individuals faced with PTSD/trauma, family conflict, mood disorders, addictions, grief, anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts. I am dedicated to building on the strengths of my clients to provide a secure place to help guide them into the journey of recovery and healing. My therapeutic approach is flexible based on the needs of the client, and often include helping people utilize their inner strengths to increase self-awareness and incorporate healthy coping skills to improve the quality of their relationships with themselves and others.
