About me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York state with 8 years of professional work experience as an addiction’s counselor. I have worked with clients who have experienced negative consequences due to substance use and have helped many to gain sobriety. I believe that the most important factor in gaining a change of experience is to gain self-awareness and insight. I have helped clients explore the underlying causes of addiction, including depression, anxiety and trauma. I have taken multiple trainings on anxiety and trauma have experience in helping clients address how their life experiences have contributed to their substance use. I have experience in helping clients explore their spirituality and believe that faith can be an important area to address in treatment. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
